But...What is a Habitat for Humanity ReStore?

  • Homeowners, community members, contractors, and retailers donate useable surplus building materials, furniture, appliances, doors, windows, books, electrical fixtures, and sporting goods

  • Donations to a Habitat ReStore—provide an instant IRS-recognized tax deduction. We will give you a receipt as a legal record of your donation!

  • Our whole community benefits from reduced costs on household items —We especially see a benefit to young families.

  • Materials are recycled that would otherwise go into landfills. This reduces everyone’s taxes and is good for the environment.

  • 100% of profits go toward providing housing for deserving local, low-income, WORKING families–-Our mission is to provide affordable, simple, safe, and decent homes.

Here's what our customers are saying:

"We were amazed to see the variety and high quality of items when we stopped by. We will be back again!" ~ Lisa M.

Expansion of ReStore Donation Pick-Up Area

We are doing scheduled pick-ups in Wisconsin Rapids, Marshfield, and Monroe County and selling those donated items in the ReStore. We then give a portion of the proceeds to those local Habitat programs. We can offer more items for sale in the ReStore, help reduce clutter in surrounding area landfills, and fund housing for low income hard working families in all these areas. If you live in these areas and would like to schedule a pick-up, give us a call at 888-844-8055 -- Find out when we will be in your area!
